Phase I is compete

The first phase of the sound system is now complete! The sound desk was delivered on Wednesday. Jason took a day and transferred all the equipment from the old cabinet into the new desk. The only part that wasn't moved was the old 8 ch, 120W powered mixer. This was replaced with a 20 ch mixer and a 1100W amp.  The desk is much better organized for ease of use and has lots of space for additional equipment we can get in the future. The new sound equipment has already shown itself as a massive improvement of the old.

In fact, the choir is using some of the new features in their canata this Sunday. After borrowing a monitor system and plugging it in to the new equipment, they now have sound from the Canata CD in the choir loft, something that has never been done before!
