From the Family of Donald “Donnie” Stout

 

Donnie’s journey was one that he would not have chosen, but all along the way there were many blessings and uplifting and heartwarming people (angels). Donnie enjoyed his cards, visits, and phone calls from co-workers, church family and friends. His family would like to express our sincere thanks for your kindness and thoughtfulness, including your prayers, flowers, church contributions in his memory, food, St. Joseph’s Hospice, Mount Morris church for the use the church, Pastor Ken Miller for the beautiful service, and the First Baptist Church for the wonderful dinner. Donnie said it himself, “It’s so nice to know so many people care.” 

 As we reflect on the journey that Donnie would not have chosen, we have been comforted with many blessings and so much love words cannot explain. We know he is still smiling.
