BAPTIST YOUTH NEWS
B-Y is back to meeting at their regular schedule, having classes on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sundays and special all church activities on the 1st and 5th Sundays. February looks to be a very busy month for the youth with several activites planned.
Upcoming B-Y Activities
The Jr. High Convention will be attended by 6 youth and 3 adults at First Baptist,Fairmont March 4th. Depart from church 8 am & approximately return 10 pm.Nancy Hayhurst reports that on February 17th, 39 children and adults from our church went to Canaan Valley for a skiing and tubing adventure. Going down the tubing hill in excess of 40 mph was a lot of fun! Rev. Miller enjoyed only ONE ride which he said "was enough". We only had a few injuries but nothing bad. It was a really cold day, but was truly enjoyed!
